► HOW THE CURRICULUM WORKS?
Our Daycare Curriculum was created for children ages 2-5 and is a hands-on literature based curriculum. All of the weekly units are based on a children's book that was specifically created for one letter of the alphabet and will include the following concepts:
✔️ Letter Recognition & Sounds
✔️ Beginning Handwriting Skills
✔️ Fine and Large Motor Skills
✔️ Following Directions
✔️ Matching and Sorting
The Daycare Curriculum includes a continuous usage license which allows daycares & nursery schools to use the power of storytelling to engage, entertain, and teach groups of children both at daycare AND home year after year. It was designed to connect the daycare and the home, helping children learn fa
Each weekly unit was designed with simplicity in mind. Each week has a calendar that will guide you on what you should work on each day. The units each have directions and lessons already created, so that you can focus on helping each child.
By allowing the characters that children will befriend through our stories at daycare to go home with them, parents and teachers will be able to work together to help children learn faster and with greater comprehension.
You can easily customize or extend the curriculum to match the needs of specific children with our curriculum addons. These addons give you additional story-based activities that have been proven to further increase reading comprehension and creativity in early childhood.

► WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH WEEKLY UNIT?
✔️ STORY TIME: Each weekly unit is centered around "Story Time", which promotes brain development and imagination, teaches your child about language and their emotions, and strengthens your relationship.
✔️ STORY BOOKLET: Your child will have their very own personal version of our story books to read whenever they want! Available in color and black & white.
✔️ OVERSIZED FLASH CARD: Have your child read the flashcard aloud with you. Save this card for later review as you collect more flashcards in future weeks.
✔️ LET'S LEARN THE LETTER: Print and assemble the booklet by cutting the pages out along the dashed lines. Staple in the middle along the spine and allow your child to refine their handwriting by tracing the words within.
✔️ LET'S PRACTICE WRITING: Demonstrate for your child the order they should make their strokes to form the upper and lowercase letter, then let them practice.
✔️ LETTER IDENTIFICATION: Have your child circle the uppercase and lowercase version of the featured letter in each row.
✔️ LETTER TRACING: Introduce your child to this week's letter and have them practice tracing it in upper and lowercase to refine their motor skills and increase letter recognition.
✔️ WORD TRACING: It’s time to move on to words! Pairing this exercise with real objects and expressions for your child to associate the words with will make this exercise extra effective.
✔️ COLOR THE PICTURES: Test your child’s memory and see which illustrations they can recall the words for, then have them color the images starting with the letter.
✔️ DOT THE LETTER: Walk your child through placing a dot in their preferred color next to each upper and lowercase version of the letter.
✔️ FIND THE WORDS: Read each word with your child while having them point out (or dot in pencil or crayon) each word beginning with the letter.
✔️ MATCH PICTURES TO WORDS: Build associations between words and images with your child by having them draw a line from each illustration to the corresponding word.
✔️ CIRCLE THE IMAGES: Take your child through identifying each object on the page and circling the illustration whose words start with the featured letter.
✔️ FILL THE MISSING LETTER: What’s the missing letter? See if your child can guess what each word is and fill in the blank by themselves.
✔️ UPPERCASE LETTER MAZE: Help your child guide the character through the maze by following the featured letter from start to finish
